All is set for the conduct of the people Democratic Party primaries, for the 22nd of September Governorship election in Osun state.
Speaking with Journalists in the state capital Osogbo, the state chairman of the party Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo is optimistic that the exercise will be free, fair and rancour free. His words “we are party of order and law abiding, we will organise a free, fair and rancour free election this Saturday the 21st of July ”
Re-echoing the state chairman and the National vice Chairman of PDP South West Dr. Eddy Olafeso said that within 24 hours he believes that the party will be able to talk to all aspirants so that the numbers will be reduce to enable the election to be free, fair, and acceptable to all in the interest of Osun people and the party at large “we will be fair, free and allow candidates to compete with one another in an election that they too will have confident in” he said “it not going to be an exercise of writing figures some where or believing that we are going to deceive some people and just impose candidate on them” He also said that the primary is not a war against one another that before Saturday they are doing all things possible to talk to aspirants to unite to be able to fight the common enemy for the interest of Nigerians and the party.
At a moment, about 11 aspirants are contesting in the 21st July primaries election to become PDP flagbearer in Osun state governorship race.
The PDP party primary is going to take place in GMT Hotel, New Oroki Estate in the capital city of Osogbo, the state of Osun.
