Zambian club signs two Nigerian footballers

Zambia Premier League club, Zesco United are set to complete the signing of Nigerian duo, Dennis Nya and Wasiu Jimoh.
Nya and Jimoh are expected in Lusaka (today) to complete the move.

Nya, a centre-back is joining Zesco United from Nigeria Professional Football League club, Akwa United.

The 26-year-old, who can also play as a midfielder was part of Nigeria’s Under-17 side that conquered the world in the United Arab Emirates in 2013.

He is coming as a replacement for Sudanese defender, Peter Manyang, who has been released by the club.

Jimoh on the other hand is moving from another NPFL club, Kwara United.
The forward caught the eye of Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.

He scored three goals in four games with Kwara United exiting the competition in the first round. DAILY POST
