The death has occured of Dr Ahmed Sani Kaura, Chairman ,Zamfara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Reports say the late chairman slumped and died in Gusau , the state capital Wednesday after delivering a speech at the venue of a meeting convened for peaceful electioneering activities by the state branch of the Nigeria Council of Ulamah.
The closest child to the deceased chairman , Abdullahi Muhammad said ” at the occurrence of the incident, my father was rushed to a medical facility where he was confirmed dead. “
He said his father died at the age of 62, leaving behind two wives and six children. Three males and three females.
According to reports , funeral rites of the deceased party Chairman would be announced by his family at his home town in Kauran Namoda.
Meanwhile, state PDP Publicity Secretary, Abba Bello also confirmed that the late Kaura died Wednesday during a peace meeting organised by the Nigeria Council of Ulamah Zamfara state chapter.
Reports also say the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Dauda Lawal had condole the family of the deceased.
Similarly, the state chapter of the party also sympathised and condoled the family over the irreparable loss.
