All Progressives Congress stalwart in Sokoto state, Hajiya Munawwarah Yazid has said that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be a game changer with capacity to transform the country if elected.
” Nigerians will enjoy more dividends of democracy and good governance if they elect Tinubu and Shettima in 2023.”
She said the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections has carved an unprecedented political niche for himself as true democrat explaining that the duo would improve Nigeria’s economy , sustain the anti corruption drive and ensure the security of lives and property of citizens .
” They will certainly change the narrative if elected “, he stressed.
Yazid who spoke to reporters weekend in Sokoto described Tinubu as an achiever and accomplished technocrat with tested and trusted political track record.
The party Chieftain noted that the combination of the duo of Tinubu and Shettima as running mate was a good omen for Nigeria.
” They are achievers in their own right as former governors and senators who rendered selfless services as servants to their people and Nigerians. They did well in transforming their respective states while as governors and I am confident they will replicate same feat if given the mandate by Nigerians”,She pointed out.
According to Yazid, Tinubu would build on and sustain the legacies and achievements of President Buhari adding that ” he will even surpass same”, boasted the party stalwart.
In the same vein, Yazid assured of mobilising no fewer than 20,000 votes for APC explaining that it will be carried out via her group, Zuhaf Strategic Alliance .
This, She added” I have facilitated the defection of over 13,000 members of other parties into the APC from 14 out of 23 LGs in the state and still counting.”
Meanwhile, Yazid also said the combination of the party’s state guber candidate , Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and his running mate, Alhaji Idris Gobir symbolises resilience towards revamping Sokoto state if given the mandate.
” They have unbeaten record that will stand them elected to replicate the 8 years indelible record of achievements of former governor Aliyu Wamakko on infrastructural developments and peoples’ welfare .”
