THE rumoured crack on the walls of the political house of hope of the Sokoto state All Progressives Congress built and nurtured to maturity by its leader and former governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko is mere imagination and fiction theory of political failures and doom sayers.
Nothing shows things are falling apart within the ranks of the ruling APC in the caliphate rather closely waxing and bracing up with full political oxygen for consolidation.
However, the party in the caliphate is fast consolidating and redesigning its path ahead of next political dispensation with attractive approach towards sustaining it tempo as confidently and peacefully as it were.
The pluses have opened a new chapter for political analysts to draw from the facts and dwell on what refers to unequalled political development in the state.
Against this backdrop, the Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and his political mentor, Senator Aliyu Wamakko have pitched stands with humility , humbleness and human face to dust the path of honour with passion to forgive one of its own and member representing Tangaza/Gudu Federal Constituency, Hon. Sani Alhaji Yakubu who for obvious reasons, personally apologised and sought for forgiveness before the duo.
Representative Yakubu Gudu it was gathered, tendered his apology to both leaders on Sunday at the Asokoro residence of the Sokoto state APC leader in Abuja.
Gudu, in an interview, expressed regrets over his attitude, which led to his exit from the real journey in the APC family to another scramble way.
He said, “I came back home to my father, whom I have been with for almost nineteen years; I have no place to go, with or without politics”.
” I regret my attitude in the past, but Alhamdulillah, I come to apologize to my father, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and my Governor, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto; this will not happen again; I am back to continue from where I stopped”, he declared.
Hon. Sani Alh Yakubu was quoted to have said, “When I found myself in the hands of bandits sometime ago, nobody was there to help me but, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, as he paid for my ransom and rescued me alive “.
In his remorseful mood , Sani continued ” I can also recall when my colleague Hon. Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga from Isa/Sabon Birni Federal constituency fell sick in Abuja, there was no help from anybody, but when I called Senator Wamakko he quickly and graciously came to our help as he paid for the hospital bill, and when unfortunately he passed away, I also called Senator Wamakko again telling him that, Hon Jelani is dead. The Senator Wamakko swiftly responded by connecting me with a private jet pilot who brought the corpse from Abuja to Sokoto for burial “, he narrated with open mind.
In company of representative Sani Yakubu to Senator Wamakko’s Asokoro residence in Abuja were his colleagues; Hon. Ahmad Abdullahi Kalambaina, representing Wamakko/Kware Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Almustapha Aliyu, representative from Rabah/Wurno Federal Constituency and Hon. Nasiru Shehu, representing Bodinga, Dange shuni and Tureta federal constituency according to a statement by Bashar Abubakar , Special Assistant (Media) to Senator Wamakko.
Besides, the statement explained that Sani Yakubu’s political journey has been transiting to successes with the unequalled support of Senator Wamakko.
