The team showcased their superiority with a resounding 11-0 aggregate victory, following a 5-0 win in the first leg in Abidjan and a clinical 6-0 triumph in the return leg held in Ikenne this past Sunday.

The team’s impressive display in front of the home crowd caught the attention of Hon. Kunle Soname, the proprietor of Remo Stars and Beyond Limits Football Club.

Motivated by the girls’ high-scoring performance, Soname had pledged a reward of N750,000 for every goal scored during the match. Following the 6-0 victory, he promptly honored his commitment by presenting the team with N4.5 million in recognition of their successful campaign and clinical efforts on the pitch.

With this comprehensive win, the Flamingos now look ahead to the final round of the qualification series as they pursue their place in the upcoming World Cup.
