: Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democrtic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar acknowledging cheers from hin teeming supporters as he was warmly received from the trip to the United States of America at the General Aviation Terminal, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Atiku who made the promise yesterday during his Presidential campaign rally held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo the Akwa Ibom state capital, reiterated his promise to restructure the country.

The PDP presidential candidate who commended the PDP government for bringing development to the state throughout the period it was in power, and urged the people to continue to support the PDP government by voting all the PDP candidates in order for them to continue to reap the dividends of democracy.

He said, “Akwa Ibom will progress more if you continue to be PDP, therefore I commend the people of Akwa Ibom to remain steadily behind PDP. You are going to vote PDP from top to bottom. Let me tell you the problem that APC has brought for us. APC said when they were coming in in 2015, that they were going to improve on our economy, but today we have the highest rate of unemployment, in the history of our country.

” Today the United Nations has declared Nigeria the headquarters of poverty in the world. They said they are coming to improve on security, when they came there was insecurity in the Northeast, today they did not control the insecurity situation in the Northeast. Today there is insecurity in the NorthWest, there is insecurity in the North central.

They stole our economy, don’t let them not steal your votes because they want to destroy your future. Don’t vote APC at all. Having said that one of our most important policies is to restore the economy. One other of my policies is to restructure this country. If we restructure this country Akwa Ibom is going to be more prosperous than it is today.

Continuing Atiku said with economy wizards like Governor Udom Emmanuel who is economy wizards, the PDP would be able to restore the economy of the country to its lost glory.

“Finally a refinery is going to be established here in Akwa Ibom state. Therefore Akwa Ibom people I appeal to you to vote PDP. You see I am from Adamawa state, but I don’t discriminate about where you come from. I want to dedicate my administration to young men and women and hand over the baton of leadership to you in this country”, he added.

Addressing the rally earlier, the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, said the crowd at the rally indicates that Akwa Ibom is actially a religion in Akwa Ibom state, and therefore urged the people to go out on the dates of election to vote all PDP candidates without fear.

“I want to warn those of our friends who are from this state who believe that in Akwa Ibom state elections can be rigged, if you rig election in Akwa Ibom state you rig your head. Our dear country is in distress, and the whole world is aware.

It is now concluded by so many across the country and the entire world that we can no longer keep silent,; that all actions of Buhari are threat to democracy and existence of our country, therefore Buhari and the APC are dangerous, don’t vote for them.
“This country must be liberated and regain its freedom.” He concluded.
