The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed profound sadness over the passing of General Godwin Abbe, describing him as a towering figure in the nation’s history whose life was defined by service, leadership, and integrity.
In a tribute signed by the Chairman of the Edo State PDP Caretaker Committee, Dr. Anthony Aziegbemi, the party lauded General Abbe’s unwavering patriotism and commitment to peace and unity, both on the battlefield and in public service.
