Senate committee on works on oversights trip to south /south states , Senator Clifford Ordia vice chairman committee led other members of the committee on the inspections that began from lokoja expressway.
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state received the committee members and expressed the state readiness to corporate with the federal government to address these critical infrastructural development in the state.
In his speech Senator Clifford Ordia, Vice Chairman, Senate committee on works, who is the leader of committee stressed on the total failure of the Lokoja /Benin highway in particular the collapse of the Ekpoma alignment and also informed the government and the of Edo state that as a matter of urgency they’ve instructed the contractor on the Ekpoma axis to move back to cite which he has complied while others are waiting for the raining season to be over. Other members of the committee are Senator Mustapha Sani , Senator Ben Bruce and Senator Biodun Olujimi.
