Nollywood actress and film producer Iyabo Ojo, popularly known as “Queen Mother,” has threatened actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, better known as Baba Ijesha, with fresh legal action following his recent remarks in a viral interview.

The controversy was sparked by Baba Ijesha’s appearance on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast, hosted by actress Biola Adebayo.
During the episode aired on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the actor claimed that Iyabo Ojo had once entrusted her children to his care in the past.
Reacting swiftly, Iyabo Ojo debunked the claim, describing it as a fabrication. Through her social media platforms, the actress expressed her intention to seek legal redress for what she termed as false and defamatory statements.
She maintained that the actor’s narrative was an attempt to manipulate public perception and that her legal team has been briefed to take the necessary steps to protect her family’s reputation.
