KADUNA PDP SUSPENDS PARTY STALWARTS

The State Working Committee, SWC, of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP, Kaduna State, met today, Saturday,16 May, 2020, after preliminary hearing on  party discipline and resolved to suspend the following, for anti-party activities in line with the provision of the party’s constitution as provided in Section 57(3) 2017, as amended.

According to a statement made available to Invicta News, Friday evening, which was signed by the Kaduna State PDP Publicity Secretary, Abraham Alberah Catoh, those suspended were Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, Honourable Hashim Garba, from Kubau Local Government, Dr Mato Dogara from Lere Local Government, Ibrahim Lazuru from Lere Local Government, Dr John Danfulani, Kachia Local Government, Lawal Imam Adamu, Soba Local Government, Ubale Salmanduna, Zaria Local Government.

The statement further reads that the aforementioned members stand suspended from the party from Friday 16th May, 2020 and will be expected to appear before the Disciplinary committee on a date and time to be announced by the committee.

The SWC also said they have resolved that retired Colonel Dauda Albehu Gora, is not a registered member of the PDP and therefore, tag him as an impersonator.

It added that the party has submitted Colonel Gora’s name to all security Agencies to take note of his activities, saying necessary action against him would be taken should he continue with his activities against the PDP.
