Peller was admitted to a ₦500,000 bail on Tuesday after spending four days in police detention.

The content creator was initially arrested on Friday evening in the Lekki area of Lagos State after an altercation with police personnel.

He was subsequently transferred to the Ikeja Police Station and arraigned on Tuesday alongside an associate, Bello Oladipo.

The duo faces a three-count charge including obstruction of police officers in the discharge of their duties, conduct likely to cause a breach of the public peace, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Prior to his detention, a video went viral on social media showing Peller accusing police officers of harassment because he was driving a newly purchased, tinted vehicle without license plates.

In the footage, the streamer alleged that the officers pulled his shirt and pointed a weapon at his head while demanding he be taken into custody, an encounter that ultimately led to the criminal charges and subsequent arraignment.
