Men of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) are currently on the hunt for a notorious female Indian hemp dealer based at Koko, Koko-Besse Local Government Area of Kebbi State, identified as Hajia Abu Musa, who escaped arrest.
Reports say the female marijuana dealer popularly known as Mata Masufhafhaye and Hajia Koko” may have defied arrest by the NDLEA due to her connections with some strong power brokers in the state which had sustained her in the business for the past 20 years.
A source said Hajia Musa, sensing she was about to be apprehended by the secrete officers of the agency, took to her heels before the arrival of NDLEA officials.
The source who didn’t want to be named said; “She has been on the radar of the official of NDLEA for some time now but she escaped from their grip again just like the manner she used to escape in the past from security agencies. She is still on the run now.
“She has been dealing in marijuana for over 20 years. Anytime she was picked up, the power brokers in the state always come to her rescue. That is how she has always escaped from prosecution. ”
According to Alhaji Suleiman Jadi, the Commandant of NDLEA in Kebbi State, his men are currently on the hunt for the suspect.
Jadi said; ” We are looking for her now. She is well known as a notorious marijuana dealer in Koko community. All her exhibits are with us inside polyethylene bags. She is selling the drugs in pieces to her customers. We are seriously looking for her”.
