OGUN PCRC CONDEMNS THE BRUTAL ATTACK ON DPO OBANTOKO DIVISION, URGES STUDENTS TO SHUN VIOLENCE AND EMBRACE THE SPIRIT OF PATRIOTISM.

.The Police Community Relations Committe in Ogun State, led by High Chief Ven. (Dr) Samson Kunle Popoola (JP ), has condemned vehemently and in it’s entirety the brutal attack on some police officers including the DPO of Obantoko Division in Adatan area command leading to serious bodily harm of SP Alimeke Ignatius by students of Egba Comprehensive High School Asero who blocked the main road in apparent ambush of students of Asero high school in the same vicinity.

This uncivilized and unwarranted attack is another manifestation of hatred and maltreatment of our dedicated and dutiful police officers by these misguided and disgruntled elements amongst our youths. And if not quickly checked, portrayed a great danger for the future of this great country.

The Chairman has spoken with the affected DPO, to sympathise with him and other officers injured in the ugly incidence.

The PCRC as an organization will not be part of this lawless act and will go all out to support the CP Lanre Sikiru Bankole psc and his men and officers in fishing out these bad elements.

The State Chairman has directed the PCRC area command Chairman, Hon Taiwo Akinlabi to mobilize members and supportive agencies to fish out these miscreants and make them face the full wrath of the law as provided for by our statutes.
He called on law abiding students to volunteer information that will lead to the arrest of the bad eggs amongst them while assuring all peace loving students that they have nothing to fear from the security agencies.
Our youths must at all times be shining examples of civility, peace and patriotism.
The PCRC urged all our officers and men not to be deterred by this isolated incidence, in discharging their duties as majority of the populace are appreciative of their sacrifices despite daunting challenges confronting them.

PCRC!!!service to the nation & humanity .
