TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has addressed the wave of criticism following his decision to gift his partner, Jarvis, a Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 for her birthday.

The emotional presentation, captured in a viral video, sparked a heated debate online, with some users accusing the influencer of excessive spending and comparing the gift to the car he previously purchased for his mother.
Responding to the detractors, Peller clarified that his mother had originally requested a ₦9 million Toyota, but he chose to exceed her expectations by purchasing a ₦20 million Hyundai instead.
He dismissed claims that the luxury vehicle was a tactic to keep Jarvis in the relationship, stating that the gift was a reflection of his financial success and his genuine appreciation for her.
Closing his defense, the streamer emphasized his commitment to the relationship, noting that he would be willing to spend even more in the future if they were to have a child together.
