Put Politics aside and join me in the task of making Adamawa work again – Fintiri tell Adamawa Permsecs

Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has urged permanent secretaries in the state, especially those that worked against his emergence to put politics aside and join him in the task of making Adamawa work again.

The governor said this in Yola while receiving permanent secretaries who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House.

He assured them of his readiness to work together with them for the peace and development of the state in spite of their political affiliation.

Fintiri, who frowned at the lackadaisical attitude of some permanent secretaries infamous for abandoning their responsibilities, disclosed that he would soon unfold his administration’s agenda and focus, assuring them that it would not be business as usual.

He said his administration would create an atmosphere conducive for them to discharge their duties as well as provide necessary tools for them to perform their duties effectively.

Earlier, the Head of Service, Dr Edger Amos, who led the delegation, congratulated him for his victory at the poll and inauguration and pledged loyalty and corporation.

They also promised to perform their duties with high sense of commitments, dedication, honesty and avoid corruption to enable him succeed in implementing his programmes and policies.
