X-Raying The Fight Against Corruption, Insecurity and Inequality….The way forward
Ground Zero a flagship radio discussion programme on Invicta FM, Kaduna, held the the maiden edition of The Ground Zero Town Hall Meeting series on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
The Meeting which was held on Zoom, a virtual platform, was attended by a cross session of panelist and participants from within Nigeria and from the diaspora.
The topic of the maiden edition of the Ground Zero Town Hall Meeting was “The Buhari Administrations 5 Years in office- X-Raying the fight againstcorruption, insecurity and inequality… The way forward”
Keynote Presentation on Buhari’s Five Years In Office: X-Raying the Fight against Corruption, Insecurity, Inequality and the way forward was done by Dr Obadiah Mailafia.
While Dasuki I. Aribi – DG Bureau for Public Service Reforms made a presentation on “Buhari’s 5 Years in office – The Fight against corruption and inequality through public service reforms”.
The President of Nigeria Unioin of Journalists, Comrade Chris Isiguzo made a Presentation on the State of the media 5 years into Buhari’s administration.
President, Campaign for Democracy, CD, Comrade Abdul Bako in his opening statement enjoined all participants and panelists to be open and plaine in their discussions.
Other participants who made rich contributions on the topic under review, include Dr. Cosmos Anyankudo from UK, Engineer Charlse Sado, From the US, Barrister Gloria Ballason of House of Justice, Kaduna; Comrade Yusuf Adamu, NUJ Chairman Kaduna; Femi Adi, NUJ Secretary Kaduna; Saxon Akhiane of the Guardian Newspaper; and Danjuma Abbas Dangwa from The Coalition of Associations in Leadership, Peace, Empowerment and Development (CALPED).
Goodwill messages were received from some CSO’s – Abel Adejo from PERL; and Prince Chimaroke Chukwuka from Accountability Lab Nigeria; Gloria Kasang Bulus from Bridge That Gap Initiative
