The Sokoto state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress Sokoto says the party leadership, members and people of the state are confident that the vibrant policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu led government will transform Nigeria to greatness for socio- economic prosperity.
Similarly, it passed vote of confidence in the President , Senator Aliyu Wamakko and governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto for showcasing result oriented leadership that promoted development with equal opportunities to citizen to be self reliant.
The party Chairman , Sadiq Isah Achida remarked at a briefing on Friday in solidarity with the purposeful commitment of President Tinubu to the development of Sokoto state and Nigeria as a whole.
He said Mr President has demonstrated love and conservation to those who toiled towards the success of the party at the polls.
” This is an indication that President Tinubu has confidence with respect for our leader’s quality , Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and his mentee and courageous , hardworking governor , Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.
” We have to also celebrate Tinubu’s political brotherhood for honouring the state with two ministerial positions in the just concluded cabinet reshuffle”, he pointed out.
Accordingly, Achida noted that the over 1000km Sokoto -Badagry super highway would strengthen avenue for better connectivity and enhance infrastructure as well create more open opportunities to Nigerians for smooth economic activities.
However, Achida pointed out that numerous other FG projects were being carried out in the state including the Sokoto -Gusau-Zaria road , Federal Housing units projects among others
” All thes are eloquent testimonies which speak volumes for the regard Mr President has got Sokoto state as well has shamed our detractors and convince our believe that President Tinubu is a man of honour”, he explained .
