Sitting Chairman of Wamakko local government council in Sokoto state, Honourable Ahmed kalambaina on Thursday clinched the All Progressives Congress(APC) primaries ticket as its candidate for the October 28th, 2017 Kware/Wamakko Federal Constituency bye-election.
Kalambaina recorded 619 votes against Abubakar Sadiq Kware who returned 19 votes at the primaries concluded late night.
While the winner, Kalambaina commended the smooth, transparent and credible conduct of the exercise also applauded party members and delegates for a hitch free primaries.
On his part, Sadiq Kware who accepted the outcome in good fate promised to mobilise his supporters to ensure the victory of Kalambaina.
” My self, supporters and well wishers will join hands to ensure that the party wins come October, 28.”
The primaries was conducted by the party ahead of INEC’s bye-election to fill in the vacant position created in the House of Representatives following the demise of Honourable Abdullahi Wamakko in July this year
