Abubakar made the call at a ramadan break fast/dinner he organised for  Executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), and leaders of the residence communities in the state.
The revered leader said the call was in view of the anxiousness and attitude of some newsmen and media organizations who immediately broadcast stories without considering it’s sensitivity and negative consequences .
The Monarch particularly, expressed displeasure with the way some television houses in the country such as channels television station mischievously portray pictures of some people carrying sophisticated weapons as Fulani herdsmen, noting that such pictures could influence the belief of many against Fulani herdsmen.
” This can send wrong signals that Fulani herdsmen  really carry guns and attack communities as they were  consistently accused of.”
Abubakar had in strong terms also expressed concern over recent comments by the leadership  of Christians Association of Nigeria(CAN),that there will be war if Boko Haram Insurgents kill the christian girl(Leah Sheribu) in their captivity.
The religious monarch described as unguarded and  unexpected the comments by leaders of CAN in view of the fact that Boko Haram was not a religion fundamentally.
He also renewed his call to all Nigerians to cooperate by assisting security agencies to over come the nation’s security challenges.
” Doing so, will encourage their efforts and operational capacity to positively face the security challenges bedevilling the country.
” This can be achieved by feeding the security with useful and intelligent information about movement of people with suspicious character around.”
