We are not out of Recession unless the poor masses say so – Shehu Sani

https://kadunanewsonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Senator-Shehu-Sani-Kaduna-News-Online.jpg/We are not out of Recession unless the poor masses say so - Shehu SaniSenator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani, has faulted celebrated report by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS,that the country is out of recession.

The lawmaker stressed that only those bearing the effects of recession in their daily lives can confirm Nigeria’s exit from recession, not government.

According to him, the three ways to get out of recession are by figures, by facts, by facts and figures.

“The best people to confirm whether actually we are out of recession are the people bearing the effects of it in their daily lives.

“A predatory society is where politics is a career and not a service.

“There are three ways to get out of recession.By figures,by facts,by facts and figures.” Sani wrote via his twitter page @shehusani

Recall that the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, had on Tuesday said Nigeria’s economy is now out of recession as Gross Domestic Product, GDP, returned to positive growth.
