Stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress in Sokoto state, Chaired by the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi on Tuesday resolved to sustain its winning tempo to ensure its Presidential candidate , Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins in 2023.
Similarly, it vowed to dislodge ruling PDP maladministration in the state for it’s guber candidate , Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto to be in Government House, Sokoto.
It stressed that the party will not allow the shock of 2019 elections repeat itself again, noting that APC will reclaim its mandate in the state.
Amidst slogans ” Sai Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ” , the stakeholders said its Presidential candidate remain most credible and popular choice in Sokoto state.
Meanwhile, the party was fortified with a big catch, Alhaji Hali Sanda from Sokoto North who defected from PDP.
Speaking at the meeting expected to end on Tuesday , Dingyadi who was overwhelmed by the party’s confidence and political spirit driving the journey to 2023 hope for victory said all hands must be on deck to evolve winning strategies that would legitimately place the party victorious at all elective levels at the polls.
According to the Minister , APC in the state will not leave any stone unturned at ensuring proper synergy, team work and commitment of members and supporters towards delivering the party candidates at all levels.
” We will engage and carry every one along as important tool for the party’s success”, he stated.
He said the current party unity was a testimony and political road map to it’s dream for successes in 2023.
” APC has tested , able and dependable candidates for all elective positions that can deliver to Nigerians and Sokoto people the dividends of democracy and good governance “, Dingyadi said.
The Minster further urged the state party elders, leaders and members to intensify mobilisation of grassroots support for all candidates so that APC can overwhelmingly win the 2023 elections smoothly and easily.
