According to reports, these inspections are a crucial step in ensuring the three co-hosts meet the necessary standards for the tournament, which has been officially branded as PAMOJA 2027.

The East African trio secured the hosting rights after outcompeting a joint bid from Nigeria and the Benin Republic. This upcoming edition also marks a historic shift in the tournament’s structure.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe previously announced that the 2027 event will be the last to follow the traditional biennial format.

Moving forward, the tournament will be held in 2028, with all subsequent editions transitioning to a four-year cycle.
