The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, has officially launched the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG), an initiative that will offer Nigerian students the opportunity to access up to ₦50 million in investment funding for their startups and businesses.
The launch, which took place in Abuja on Monday, was described by Minister Alausa as part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at empowering youth and fostering innovation across the country.

Speaking at the event, Alausa detailed the S-VCG as a government initiative designed to provide comprehensive support for student-driven innovations. This support will extend beyond just funding, encompassing essential aspects like mentorship and visibility for the beneficiaries.
