A group of individuals reportedly mistook a pile of polythene bags for a potential improvised explosive device (IED), leading to an immediate reaction from local security forces and heightened anxiety among residents.
Governor Mutfwang confirmed that the Plateau State Police Command’s anti-bomb squad and other security agencies responded swiftly to the report. Following a thorough investigation at the site, authorities found no evidence of explosives or any other threat.
