Kaduna State Shines at the 2024 PHC Leadership Challenge, Wins $500,000 Award

ABUJA – Kaduna State has been honored as the best-performing state in the northwest region at the 2024 Primary Health Care (PHC) Leadership Challenge, receiving international recognition and a $500,000 award for its exceptional healthcare investments and leadership.

Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, accompanied by the Commissioner of Health and the Executive Secretary of the Primary Health Care Board, accepted the prestigious award at a gala night hosted by the Nigerian Governors’ Forum at the Banquette Hall in Aso Villa, Abuja.

The award highlights Governor Senator Uba Sani administration’s strong commitment to transforming the state’s healthcare sector, particularly at the primary healthcare level. It recognizes Kaduna State’s significant investments and strategic approach to improving public health infrastructure and service delivery.
