Most conflict resolutions and peace talks end without the conflict being resolved. Most times everyone sitting at the table of dialogue pretend that all is fine so that “peace” will reign; but peace never prevails on the throne of pretence or in a gathering of hypocrites. It is a case of hiding the corpse and burying an empty casket then the community suffers being haunted by the ghost.
I still wonder why after so many “peace talks and conflict resolution meetings” in SOUTHERN KADUNA the ghosts are still haunting the land while heads and destinies are still rolling and the innocent blood keep spilling in sheer peril.
The questions that still beg for answers are:
Who is killing us?
Why are they killing us?
Until these questions are answered, I regret we might keep lamenting and nothing may change.
May Our Land Be Healed,
May Our Hearts And Minds Be Redeemed Too.
