YouTube has unveiled its official 2025 Nigeria Year-in-Review, spotlighting the music videos, digital creators, and entertainment content that captured the most views among Nigerian audiences over the past year.

Gospel singer Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye and famous Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli emerged as the most outstanding figures on the platform.
Gaise Baba dominated the music category with his viral hit “No Turning Back II,” featuring Lawrence Oyor.
The video finished as the most streamed Nigerian music video on the platform for the year.
Released in mid-May, the video quickly amassed over forty-one million views within six months, generating massive fan engagement.
Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli—through her channel Omoni Oboli TV—finished as the leading content creator on the platform.
The announcement was made through a statement signed by YouTube’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, Addy Awofisayo.
