The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has directed its Lagos State Command to initiate immediate legal action against popular Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, following a recent car accident.

The directive comes after a video surfaced on social media appearing to show the content creator involved in a road traffic crash on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Reports suggest the incident was linked to a state of emotional distress following an alleged breakup with his girlfriend and fellow content creator, Jarvis.
In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Muhammed, condemned the act as reckless and dangerous.
He specifically cited offenses including reckless driving, distracted driving, and the illegal use of a mobile phone while operating a vehicle. Muhammed emphasized that fame does not grant any individual immunity from traffic laws, nor does it excuse behavior that endangers the lives of other road users.
The FRSC boss also called on major entertainment stakeholders, including the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and various content creator associations, to sensitize their members on the importance of road safety.
He warned that the agency remains committed to prosecuting anyone who flouts traffic regulations in the pursuit of social media clout, reiterating that public roads must not be treated as stages or studios for entertainment.
